Providing these positive user experiences becomes increasingly important as the company shifts focus to developing its suite of SaaS products for streamlining content management. In its 25th year, ViaTech is dedicated to appointing resources to help meet its goal of ensuring customer satisfaction. We are excited to introduce Hanna Bergsma, who has just joined our team as Salesforce Administrator.   

Hanna is responsible for customizing the platform to meet the needs of ViaTech's Legal Services division. Here are her thoughts on joining ViaTech.

Tell us a little about yourself.

I have always lived in Michigan (currently in Ann Arbor), but I really enjoy traveling and experiencing new cities. I graduated from Hope College with a degree in Biology. My first job was working in a microbiology lab, and through that experience, I learned that my passions were working with software and managing data.

Why did you choose ViaTech?

ViaTech is an innovator in the content delivery space. It’s easy to tell that its employees are creative, driven and focused on adding value for their customers. I wanted to join an adaptive company that encourages and supports employees to grow. I’m excited to be part of the ViaTech team!

What is your role on the team?

As Salesforce Administrator for the ACS division, I’m responsible for maintaining the Salesforce environment as well as the integrity of workflows between the system and its integrations.

What tasks do you carry out in your role, and what are some of the tools you use?

I ensure Salesforce functionality and security are up to date and work to add continuous enhancements. As business needs evolve, I’ll create customizations in Salesforce to streamline our processes. I’ll also be collaborating frequently with the ACS Salesforce users. It’s my job to ensure that the software is set up to make the execution of their jobs as seamless as possible.

What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?

When I’m not working, I like to be active and outdoors as much as Michigan weather allows. I attend a CrossFit gym regularly and have competed in a few local competitions. To balance out this interest, I’m always up for trying new restaurant recommendations, especially breakfast spots. (Coffee!) During quarantine, I added a few hobbies, including drywalling, re-drywalling and light electrical work, as my husband and I finished our basement.
